Education:
Attended both the University of Cambridge and the University of
Oxford. The certificates for the Degrees of M.A in English and M.A. in
Jurisprudence (law) hang on his office wall.
Work History:
Educator - Over 11 years experience as a College
Teacher/Lecturer: Don knows the importance of good schools and top-quality
teachers.
For ten years Don was California’s advocate for the disabled at the Worker’s
Compensation Appeals Board: he fought the insurance companies to get workers
their full benefits under the law.
Concerned Citizen:
Early AIDS activist hailed for his extensive fundraising abilities: Don saw the need for compassionate services in that field and in the need to fight breast cancer and organized a network of volunteers to fill the gap. Hundreds of thousands of dollars were raised when he lived in San Francisco.
He continues to support charitable fund raisers whenever possible.
Don served as Director of Music, St. Louis Church, Cathedral
City and donated a fine new organ to the church to further their music program.
The organ is still in use there although Don has moved on to a new position.

Nominated for Man of the Year at the Cable Car Awards.
Awarded Certificate of Honor by the San Francisco Board of Supervisors.
Served on the Cathedral City Cove Sewer Advisory Committee and is currently serving on the Cathedral City Public Arts Commission.
Regularly attends the North Cathedral City planning meetings and
City Council meetings.
